The mission of the Wright Tavern Center for Spiritual Renewal is to be a source of spiritual renewal and development for members of First Parish, Concord, and the larger community.  The Wright Tavern, one of Concord's oldest buildings, has been a busy corner of hospitality for centuries.

We, its current stewards, envision it as busier than ever. Now we see it as a meeting place where people from First Parish and from Concord and surrounding communities can learn more deeply of matters of the spirit.  Many of us feel a calling to build a stronger spiritual foundation for our lives.  The Wright Tavern Center is to be a place where we can acquire the tools, practices, beliefs, and wisdom that lead to rich and fulfilling lives. The teachings come from living traditions drawn from many sources:

Delightfully, the Wright Tavern is in the heart of Concord. This central location enables those of us with busy lives to return to the Well, and take a long cool drink of that which renews us. We are reminded that spirit and life are not separate. All of us are doing ministry in the world, and the Wright Tavern Center helps us to be the best ministers that we can be.
