Concord Stories — Lecture Series

Friday June 5, 2026 - 7pm - at Wright Tavern:

In conjuntion with the release of Stories of Massachusetts, Volume 2, the Rev. Dr. Jim Sherbloom will offer a lecture series exploring Concord’s stories through 4 distinct lenses.

White Supremacy: Concord’s culture reflects changing attitudes and beliefs about race, ethnicity, freedom, equity, equality, and human potential. Come explore.

Afternoon Tea

June 28, 2026 2pm - 4pm

Experience afternoon tea at the historic Wright Tavern and be transformed back to 1925. Meet historian Amy Cole as she welcomes visitors to enjoy an afternoon out with traditional teas and food. Learn the important history of tea rooms and their role in helping women organize. Where women organized, history changed course. Registration highly recommended. Tea and light refreshments provided, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for sale at our cash bar.

We are a museum and gathering place for event, celebrations, meetings, and parties. Come explore, experience and enjoy in the space where history was made. Drop-ins are welcome for self-guided tours, you may visit the Wright tavern from 11:00 - 4:00 on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Holiday Mondays.
